The cosy studio flats on the outskirts of the village offer the perfect starting point - you can get on the cross-country ski track directly from the building, and set off at your own pace. Ankogel, Säuleck and the 3,360 m Hochalmspitze let the hearts of alpinists, cross-country skiers and ski tourers beat faster. In addition to the top-groomed cross-country tracks and ski tours, there are also guided snowshoe hikes with national park rangers in the valley - and with a bit of luck, you will be able to watch wildlife. The Ankogel ski resort, cosy huts, the floodlit toboggan run and winter hiking trails provide variety.

If you wish, you can reach the dream mountains in an environmentally friendly and sustainable way by train: Intercity trains stop at Mallnitz-Obervellach station. So, relaxation already starts while on the way to your destination.
