Hobby cross-country skiers and pros have come for cross-country skiing and biathlon to the PillerseeTal in the Kitzbüheler Alps for many decades. The region offers skating and classic cross-country ski tracks of all levels of difficulty. Top-qualified cross-country ski instructors are happy to introduce you to the sport and professional cross-country ski shops provide competent advice and suitable equipment.

Time and again, the region has also been the venue of high-profile cross-country skiing competitions. Hochfilzen for example has already been the venue of the Biathlon World Cup on two occasions. You too can prove your marksmanship during many biathlon events for guests.
