Cross-country skiing at the foot of the Dachstein
Ramsau am Dachstein is the top alpine destination for cross-country skiing in Styria – set off on one of the trails on which the world’s elite fought it out for the world championship in 1999. The 220-km network of top-prepared cross-country ski trails at altitudes from 1,100 to 2,700 metres offers the best conditions for all difficulty levels.
The cross-country ski trails on the Dachstein glacier are THE international training centre for cross-country skiers, biathletes and Nordic combined athletes – and anyone who has set their sights high. At 2,700 metres above sea level, hobby skiers will find exactly what they’re looking for on the “panoramic” cross-country ski trail.
And away from the sporting offers, the fabulous mountain backdrop at the foot of the Dachstein offers relaxation around the clock.
