Ski marathon Skadi Loppet
Do you love challenges? Then you have to start at Skadi Loppet. New date in 2025!
In Germany's most snow-safest cross-country ski area, in Bodenmais in the Arberland, in the Bavarian Forest, the Skadi Loppet challenges you. For over 30 years, the Skadi Loppet has been the winter finale in Central Europe, but due to global warming, a new era begins for the Skadi Loppet in 2025 with a new date in January.
The Skadi Loppet trails are located at 1,060 m to 1,320 m altitude. The Skadi Loppet is characterized by wide trails through wonderful high forests, with recurring views over the Bavarian Forest. A lively change of uphill and downhill slopes guarantees you a varied race. A dream for a real classic runner.
The 42 km classic track at Skadi Loppet, with its more than 800 meters altitude, is certainly one of the most demanding ski marathon tracks in Europe. But there is something for everyone in Bodenmais. The 22 km in skating technique and the 22 km classic race are shortened in the same terrain, just as nice to run. The 22 km skating race is the track for beginners at Skadi Loppet with approx. 500 meters of altitude and is becoming increasingly popular among the runners.
