The slightly hilly landscape is a true gem for cross-country skiing lovers: at a snow-covered height of 1,800 and 2,200 metres there are 80 km of sun-drenched cross-country ski trails of varying difficulty levels. All cross-country ski trails have double tracks and are also prepared for skating.
It’s not for nothing that the Seiser Alm is also very popular among leading international teams: the low-oxygen mountain air also makes it the ideal region for altitude and endurance training. The local infrastructure includes the Nordic Ski Centre and accommodation providers that focus on cross-country skiers. The Seiser Alm Dolomites Val Gardena cross-country skiing region is also part of the Dolomiti Nordicski cross-country skiing carousel: Europe’s largest cross-country skiing region opens up with 1,300 kilometres of trails.
