Once around the trail and back?

Unwind and enjoy – with its wildly romantic landscape, the Sarn Valley is a winter paradise for nature lovers. Because whereas other Dolomites regions are home to lots of hustle and bustle, the cross-country ski trails and 120 summits of the Sarn Valley Alps seem almost untouched. The lively state capital of Bolzano is just a few kilometres away and provides the necessary pinch of city life. The cross-country skiing region in the quiet Penser Valley captivates under the motto “small but great” on 19 kilometres of cross-country ski trails with its easy and also challenging destinations.

You can lose track of the number of laps while gliding through the picturesque winter landscape. Or also lose track of time! Because you can join other night owls every Tuesday and Thursday evening and take on the circular course in Asten in the dark. But don’t forget your headlamp because there are no floodlights! At the end of the day – or also as a highlight while on the go - you can sample some South Tyrolean specialities and wines. The combination of ideal winter sports conditions and the delicious South Tyrolean cuisine unites enjoyment in the snow with culinary indulgence.
