In 1,200 m above sea level, in the heart of the Hohe Tauern National Park, there is a place far away from everyday life. A place which takes you back to the roots. The Camping and Chalet Village HOCHoben is surrounded by the picturesque scenery of the mountaineers‘ village of Mallnitz, with 95 comfortable pitches for campers, with mobile homes and a total of 18 chalets (partially with their own sauna areas) in a modern alpine style. The central main building contains a restaurant, a café, a drying and laundry room and everything that turns winter camping into a pleasant holiday.

Guided snowshoe hikes, fun toboggan runs and romantic winter hikes can be started directly from the resort. There is a separate ski area with a magic carpet for the youngest guests. To end a sporty day comfortably, the indoor swimming pool and the new sauna facility in the Tauernbad are free for guests to use.
